How will you make an impact?
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will support the efficient operation of manufacturing processes by performing routine maintenance tasks under close supervision. Your work will contribute to the smooth functioning of equipment and help maintain the reliability of production operations. By following detailed instructions and performing preventive maintenance, you will play a key role in minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment is in optimal condition.

What will you do?
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure its ongoing functionality.
- Feeder Maintenance and Repair: Conduct maintenance, repairs, and data tracking for feeders used in the manufacturing process.
- Troubleshooting Assistance: Assist in troubleshooting non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Equipment Repair: Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment based on layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals, or drawings.
- Testing and Diagnostics: Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts on machinery.
- Overtime: May be required to work overtime as needed to support production demands.
- Compliance: Follow all procedures within the company's security policy and adhere to safety practices.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
How will you get here?
Education:
- Associate's degree in electronics with an emphasis on servo positioning theory or an equivalent discipline preferred.
Experience:
- 0-2 years of work-related experience, preferably in maintaining electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience as a Maintenance Assistant or equivalent may be substituted for formal education.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Knowledge of basic and special-purpose hand tools, leveling instruments, and torque specifications.
- Basic math skills.
- Understanding of electronic color codes and component value markings.
- Familiarity with safety practices and requirements.
- Ability to operate a personal computer in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email).
- Experience with specialized maintenance tracking programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with the use of diagnostic equipment and test instruments.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment involving preventive maintenance.
