Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and convert leads into sales.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in procurement and supply chain services.
- Sales Leadership: Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.
- Partnership Development: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and industry associations.
- Proposal Management: Oversee the preparation and submission of proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within procurement and supply chain services.
- Skills:
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes and solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to analyse market data and develop strategic plans.
- Proficiency in use of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
