About This Role

As a Senior Production Supervisor, you will manage a production area to achieve plant and business objectives. Production Supervisors oversee manufacturing team members; responsibilities include planning and coordinating work activities, creating and administering production schedules, and performance management. The Supervisor also aids in resolving technical problems on the production floor, and other duties required for the manufacturing of iRhythm’s wearable devices in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting, monitoring, and ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Supervising and coaching a group of production leads and production assemblers while spending time on the production floor, including reviewing performance, addressing performance concerns and taking appropriate action, and resourcing labor.
  • Executing on-boarding, cross-training, personal development strategies for direct reports.
  • Meeting quality objectives by ensuring compliance to quality systems and partnering with Quality function as necessary.
  • Developing and achieving production plans; proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Developing and communicating departmental goals to achieve effective end of year results.
  • Investigating root cause(s) of non-conformances (i.e. NCMR, audit, etc.), identifying, and executing corrective actions by expected completion date(s).
  • Driving iRhythm Core Values: Lead with Integrity, Solve for the Patient, Think Big, Go Fast, Collaborate to Win, and Strive for Better.
  • Driving innovation and change by communicating on key business initiatives and promoting employee engagement and specifically act as a lean deployment leader.
  • Working closely with cross-functional groups to develop continuous improvement plans (i.e. engineering, calibration, materials management, equipment engineering and quality) to achieve plant and departmental objectives.
  • Providing leadership and consistently adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Performing shared leadership responsibilities and managing shared responsibilities for department.
  • Ensuring integrity of data systems (i.e. Time & Attendance, Splunk, Tableau, etc.)
  • Cross-functional leadership and alignment by working to achieve improvement plans with Process Engineering, Quality Engineering and Materials Supply.

About You:

  • BS/BA Degree in a professional discipline (i.e. Business, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, etc.), highly preferred.
  • Experience in Managing/Leading group of individuals in a project settings and/or direct report.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Medical Device or similar regulated industry
  • Lean Manufacturing Knowledge
  • Six Sigma Certification
  • Fluent with QAD/ERP system, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Quality System Regulations & applicable state & Federal requirement

Estimated Pay Range
$78,700$114,500 USD
