About This Role

The Senior Global Events Manager will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of all major internal and external events worldwide, ensuring a cohesive and impactful global event presence. This role is critical in enhancing iRhythm’s visibility, engagement, and brand presence across multiple regions and channels, including international industry tradeshows, the annual Global Sales Meeting, regional conferences, and key account-based events. The Senior Global Events Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to align events with iRhythm’s strategic objectives, support global brand initiatives, and deliver exceptional experiences for diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Strategy and Planning:
    o    Develop and implement a comprehensive events strategy that aligns with company goals, brand positioning, and commercial objectives.
    o    Design event programs that meet targeted business needs, support sales goals, and promote customer engagement and growth.
    o    Serve as an advisor to leadership, providing insights on trends, best practices, and innovation in event strategy.

 

  • Event Execution and Logistics:
    o    Oversee all aspects of event management, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, budget management, on-site coordination, and post-event analysis.
    o    Ensure smooth execution of events, including logistics, registrations, travel arrangements, audiovisual needs, and vendor management.
    o    Manage relationships with third-party vendors, maintaining the highest standards of service, while adhering to company policies and compliance requirements.

 

  • Global Events Strategy & Management
    o    Strategic Alignment & Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between global leadership, regional teams, and external partners to ensure all events align with the iRhythm brand strategy and guidelines, facilitating regular communication and coordination to maintain consistency across all markets.
    o    Vendor & Partnership Oversight: Manage the selection, contracting, and ongoing relationship with global vendors and distributors, ensuring that all partners meet quality standards and execute events in a manner that reflects the brand’s identity and strategic objectives.
    o    Global Reach & Regional Adaptation: Develop and implement event strategies that cater to diverse international markets, ensuring cultural relevance, regulatory compliance, and regional customization while maintaining a cohesive global brand presence.

 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:
    o    Partner closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product management, and regional teams to align event objectives and deliver cohesive messaging.
    o    Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial Strategy teams to enhance pre- and post-event engagement and maximize lead generation and follow-up.

 

  • Budget and Performance Management:
    o    Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and accurate financial reporting.
    o    Measure and report on event outcomes, including ROI, lead generation, brand impact, and attendee satisfaction.
    o    Develop strategic goals and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for global event success, gather data and feedback from stakeholders, and implement process improvements that enhance event execution, drive engagement, and maximize return on investment globally.
    o    Continuously optimize event processes and strategies based on feedback, metrics, and industry best practices.


Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, event management, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
•    12+ years of experience in global event management, ideally within the healthcare or med-tech industry.
•    Demonstrated success in the development and planning of strategic events, executing large-scale industry tradeshows, sales meetings, and regional events with measurable business impact.
•    Expert organizational, project management, and budgeting skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
•    Expert interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Proficiency with event management software, CRM, and project management tools.
•    Ability to travel domestically, as required, to oversee event execution.

 

Actual compensation may vary depending on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.

 

Estimated Pay Range
$145,000$175,000 USD
