Job Description
Primary Function of Position
The Key Accounts Director reports to GM and plays a critical role in building and developing the installed base of da Vinci® Surgical Systems within key account represented facilities in the Taiwan Market. The major responsibilities are to manage and direct the corporate level sales of da Vinci® Surgical Systems and to grow the utilization through increased procedures. This will be accomplished through a variety of activities including corporate level relationships, hospital/account specific activities and direct interaction with Taiwan Commercial Team. Develop exceptional customer experiences for Key Accounts by implementing strategic programs to effectively respond to competition, while simultaneously establishing a roadmap towards achieving excellence in robotic service delivery (World Class Level).
Essential Job Duties
- Provide single point of contact for all KAs and IDN groups in Taiwan
- Negotiates group contracts and sales
- Provides clients with product information, demonstrations, and data analysis (in collaboration with MACA and CHA), etc
- Design and implement strategic plans/ programs and MoU to drive sustained business growth through executive engagement initiatives, and Genesis support. Foster customer needs by initiating academic researches, and clinical trials, etc.
- Responsible for both maintaining and growing business in contracted groups
- Manage expenses within budget
- Manage the development and implementation of national sales campaign
- Manage key surgeons/customer relationships
- Active involvement in weekly and quarterly sales planning process
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of sales or related experience in the medical devices industry
- Knowledge of the major national healthcare groups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Marketing & Hospital analysis experience is essential
- Sales management experience
- Budget planning experience
- People management experience
- Ability to travel up to 50%, dependent upon account distribution
- Fluent verbal and written Chinese and English required
Required Education and Training
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
