Job Description

Primary Function of Position

  • Drive business growth of the da Vinci program by communicating the value of da Vinci surgery to customers reporting to Clinical Sales Manager.
  • Working with various functions within the company and aiming for business success.

Essential Job Duties

  • Driving utilization of the da Vinci by providing clinical and system support with OR case procedures in assigned territory.
  • Providing support at symposiums, exhibitions, and market development events
  • Effectively integrating the da Vinci at new customer sites by implementing robotic programs to insure ongoing commitment to the system (i.e. Genesis)
  • Conducting da Vinci system training for surgeons and hospital staff
    • Delivery of  system in-service and on-site training to specific levels of surgical team
  • Providing mentorship and onboarding support to new hires
  • Responsibility with key accounts
  • Responsibly managing administrative tasks; deliver billing and invoices directly to hospital, work with accounting team to reconcile invoices and ensure billing accuracy against orders, deliver instruments.
  • Partnering with capital team to resolve customer issues related to contracts and services.
  • Working with the da Vinci Clinical Sales Manager in developing a sales plan tailored to your local market.
  • Becoming a clinical expert across all primary OR procedures to position yourself as a partner in the development of surgical teams.
  • Working with senior hospital staff and key surgeons in the development and execution of a plan to effectively integrate the da Vinci at new customer sites, insuring ongoing commitment to the system.
  • Developing a clinical plan for each surgical team to insure they can use the system independently within a reasonable time frame (i.e. five cases)
  • Effectively convert high potential leads and drive training activities
  • Drive sales of instruments and accessories through new product introductions and solution selling

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of sales experience to clinics and hospitals
  • Track record in sales function, preferably with a medical device or pharmaceutical company.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both the Korean and English command

Required Education and Training

  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree and equivalent

Working Conditions

  • Ability to travel up to 50%, dependent upon account distribution.
  • No disqualification for overseas business trip

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bio science background, operating room knowledge  or have a clinical foundation to grow from is preferred.
