Provider supervision and coordination of activities related to ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in warehouse by performing the following duties

  • Reviews inbound appointment log and open order report to plan work activities
  • Plans inbound and outbound schedules accordingly to meet key priorities
  • Assigns workers to specific duties based on workload and priorities
  • Work with Inventory Control to ensure accurate inventory reporting
  • Perform periodic inventory audits
  • Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies
  • Advises employees on handling of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
  • Ensures that proper safety procedures are followed
  • Forklift operation experience is necessary for this role

Within your first month, you will:

  • Develop an understanding of the types of supplies, spare parts and devices that are stored and moving through the warehouse
  • Familiarize yourself with the key responsibilities of the warehouse staff
  • Assist with the implementation of key inventory tracking procedures as required to support maintenance and repair activities
  • Ensure proper security and tracking for all key materials, parts, tools and equipment
  • Review and become familiar with key systems to support warehouse operations

Within your first two months, you will:

  • Establish and maintain critical inventory controls to ensure timely updates to inventory tracking systems
  • Review and make recommendations on warehouse layout for materials storage and other warehouse based activities
  • Identify potential risks related to theft, breakage and other unnecessary reductions in inventory
  • Implement key tracking metrics to ensure sufficient inventory to support field and warehouse activities

Within your first three months, you will:

  • Establish key performance indicators for the warehouse staff
  • Implement safety and operational training programs for the warehouse staff
  • Develop familiarity with field repair and maintenance activities

In your first year, you will:

  • Be fluent in current processes of tracking of inventory and consumption rates
  • Make recommendations for process efficiency improvements and changes
  • Create efficiencies in the warehouse through improved layout and processes
  • Improve loss tracking procedures for accurate tracking of inventory

  • You have experience working in a fast-paced environment with ever changing activities
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to work well with others and foster a team environment
  • You have knowledge of the inventory management systems, processes and key risks
  • Experience with forklift operations, maintenance and repairs
  • Three years or warehouse experience preferred 
  • Experience using Google docs and Excel
