Third Party Risk Management is a critical topic given globalization and Interos has a unique 18-month window to exponentially grow its Department of Defense account market share. We are the first and only multi-tier, multi-factor business relationship intelligence platform that continuously monitors critical third parties. To keep up with rapid demand, we need experienced Sales leaders to take the Interos AI Platform to Department of Defense decision makers and system integrator partners who need solutions for sourcing, resilience and governance.

Essential Functions/Duties

  • Generate new business opportunities within Department of Defense clients, focusing on contracts and programs within the defense sector.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Lead the preparation of compelling proposals and presentations tailored to DoD client requirements, emphasizing compliance with government standards.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning within the defense landscape.
  • Understand and address the unique pain points and objectives of DoD clients related to operational resiliency, continuous monitoring, and security.
  • Continuously prospect, identify and pursue new business opportunities within the DoD.
  • Develop, initiate, and execute a detailed quarterly strategy plan for targeted accounts within the defense sector.
  • Manage a $1M+ SaaS quota, showcasing growth in quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging regulations, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the defense sector, remaining highly knowledgeable about relevant issues and technologies.
  • Collaborate with Channel Partners and the Interos Alliances team to drive net pipeline growth and accelerate deal velocity.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, specifically targeting Department of Defense clients.
  • Strong understanding of DoD procurement processes, regulations, and contract management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within government contracts.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

  • Hungry, aggressive and self motivated.
  • Experience working in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and innovation in sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the defense sector.

  • Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.
  • Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role. Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.
  • Compensation range is base salary of $82,500-$137,000. The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
