Infosys is seeking a VDI Consultant. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

  • 5 to 7 years' experience in Citrix VDI administration and knowledge on other OS administration
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical skills
  • Planning and Co-ordination skills
  • Experience ITIL Incident, change, Problem, Release management process
  • Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment

  • The VDI/Citrix Administrator will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment, including Citrix, Cloud PC, and Azure VDI.
  • VDI Administration: Manage and maintain the VDI environment, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Cloud PC, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
  • System Monitoring: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of the VDI environment.
  • User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, resolving VDI related issues and ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Configuration Management: Configure and optimize VDI settings, policies, and profiles to meet business requirements.
  • Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect the VDI environment from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Patch Management: Apply patches and updates to VDI systems and software to ensure they are UpToDate and secure.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the VDI environment, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to integrate VDI solutions with other systems and applications.
  • Project Management: Participate in VDI related projects, including planning, implementation, and testing of new solutions and upgrades.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:

Ontario: $ 89004 to $ 115491
