Position: Thermofluids Engineer

Location: Elbląg

Type of work: hybrid (3 days per week in office)

Salaries: base+ financial bonus

Responsibilities:

  • You will be part of the team, responsible for the design, analysis, integration, and validation of whole engine thermal and fluid systems. These include the secondary air system, oil system, fuel system, and thermo-mechanical analysis. The team leads the understanding, integration and management of these systems and attributes, whilst providing predicted and analyzed information to all areas of the business for the design and validation of engine systems, sub-systems, and components.
  • Concept design, modelling, analysis and assessment of air, oil, fuel, and heat management systems.
  • System modelling using 1D network solvers, Finite Element Analysis and CFD, test planning, test execution and analysis to validate and achieve system requirements.
  • Delivering defined technical packages and investigations against programme milestones, within agreed cost, timescale, and quality requirements.
  • Being a point of contact in your engineering discipline and sharing subject-matter knowledge with both internal and external customers.
  • Production and in-service engine support.
  • Actively promoting, encouraging, and supporting continuous improvement, in and outside your immediate sphere

  • Engineering degree or relevant experience in Thermo/Aero/Fluid-dynamics or Stress (minimum 4 years)
  • Finite Element, Fluid Flow (Air, Oil, Fuel), Heat Transfer or CFD experience
  • A good technical background and familiarity with System Engineering and Robust Design principles.
  • Good team working skills and an ability to work as part of a multi-functional team.
  • Ability to plan and execute complex tasks in challenging time frames.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and make recommendations backed up by analysis of data.
  • Ability to exchange complex technical ideas and information in a concise and logical way, over a broad and wide range of topics.
