Infosys is seeking a Test Lead with experience in Retail Domain and Point of Sale ( Micros/Xstore etc.)
As a QA Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience

- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX. This position may require travel.
- At least 4 years of working experience in QA Testing
- Strong communication skills
- 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on ecommerce and point of sale testing.
- Experience in working with POS applications from products such as NCR, Verifone etc..
- Expe rience in ePOS is plus.
- Proven experience leading and managing QA teams.
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience in Data base testing.
- Experience in leading and managing the offshore teams
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans, including test case design, test data preparation, and test execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management, business analysts) to understand requirements and translate them into effective test plans.
- Lead and manage a team of QA engineers to ensure timely and efficient test execution.
- Monitor test progress, identify and resolve issues, and report on test status and metrics.
- Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Track and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution and verification.
- Prioritize defects based on severity and impact, and work with development teams to address issues.
- Drive automation efforts to improve test efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with the automation team to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to the quality of the product.
- Implement risk-based testing strategies to ensure the highest quality.
- Effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment on testing activities.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to foster collaboration and trust.
