Technology Lead - Peoplesoft Administrator

Infosys is seeking a Peoplesoft Administrator. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications :

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Toronto, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

  • 4+ Years of IT Experience with at least 4+ years as Peoplesoft Administrator
  • Strong understanding of Peoplesoft architecture, components, and modules.
  • Experience with Peoplesoft administration tools and utilities.
  • Proficiency in database administration (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL).
  • Knowledge of system integration techniques and tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Perl).
  • Install, upgrade, and patch Peoplesoft applications.
  • Configure system settings, security, and access controls.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Manage and optimize the underlying database (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Perform database backups and recovery.
  • Implement data security and integrity measures.
  • Provide technical support to end-users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Certification in Peoplesoft administration.
  • Experience with cloud-based Peoplesoft deployments.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific best practices.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 89004 to $ 115491
