Short Description:
In the role of an Data Engineer, We're looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer in Auckland who can manage the full data lifecycle from raw ingestion to delivering high-quality, business-ready analytical models, combining strong technical skills with business insight and providing ongoing support and maintenance for data pipelines and systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • 2-3 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, and SQL.
  • Work with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and services like Azure SQL Database and Blob Storage.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within pipelines and storage solutions.
  • Partner with senior engineers, data analysts, and business teams to deliver effective data solutions and support.
  • Good knowledge on Control-M and Prefect.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Ensure data governance and compliance, maintaining data integrity, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Automate CI/CD processes, implementing Git-based version control and deployment pipelines for efficient data solution rollouts.

  • Excellent customer interfacing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
