Technology Architect Networking

Senior resource who should be technically strong with CCNP / CCNA certified. He / She should be able to handle multiple tracks with at least 8 to 15 years of experience in Networking domain specially.

LAN

• Familiar handling of network protocols up to layer 4 of the OSI model as well as with network tools, eg. Eg Wireshark
• Knowledge of network authentication methods in LAN as well as real-time communication (voice / video) to networks
• Knowledge of RSA Authentication Manager, RADIUS and TACACS
• Hands on experience with IP subnetting.
• Telnet/SSH Clients, Raritan or Terminal Server Remote Access, ServiceNow, COS, VoIP and MPLS technologies
• Experience in designing network infrastructure for new sites and site extensions.

• Experience in Cisco network software (COS/IOS), inventory/maintenance tracking.
• Proven experience managing a large and complex network.
• Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices
• Monitors and implements LAN performance standards.
• Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong customer service orientation.

WAN

• Designs and implements wide area networks including network servers, hubs, routers, workstations, and other peripheral devices.
• Installs and configures wide area network servers for email, Internet, and Proxy services.
• Installs and configures all necessary telecommunication devices.
• Operates and maintains wide area networks, tracks significant problems, monitors performance, and performs upgrades to hardware and software as required.
• Installs or modifies existing installations of networked computer hardware, software, and other components.
• Participates in long- and short-range technology planning.
• Trains technical staff at the system and building level to follow proper operating procedures necessary to maintain the integrity of the network.
• Maintains documentation regarding network configurations, operating procedures, and service records relating to network hardware and software.
• Assists in developing training for building level faculty and staff in the proper operation of the wide and local area networks.
• Attends classes, seminars, conferences and reviews professional literature to enhance knowledge of trends and developments related to wide and local area network systems.
• Performs other related work as required.
• Strong customer service orientation.

WIFI

• Manage CISCO WLC 9800, Meraki Wireless Controllers and Aironet controllers
• Devise, plan, deploy, and improve wireless networks from the beginning to implementation by collaborating with vendors, managers, and network engineers.
• Understand client requirements to be able to cater to their appropriate needs.
• Experience in Wireless Controller configuration and AP (Access Point) troubleshooting & Wireless Site Design.
• Handhold other in-house engineers to train them on wireless technologies, besides guiding other non-technical people.
• Use tools to evaluate to test and tweak wireless products, such as routers, switches, hubs, bridges, virtual private networks (VPNs), and network amplifiers, among others.
• Design and validate the performance, quality, and reliability of the RF link.
• Design and implement WLANs and other wireless networks.
• Write manuals and document current network procedures.
• Have extensive knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP).
• Make use of enterprise monitoring tools (SolarWinds and Splunk).
• Optimize network performance by supervising performance, addressing network problems and breakdowns, and partnering with network engineers to optimize the network.
• Develop and implement policies and classify and oversee access to protect network systems.
• Make sure that all equipment, including servers and the other network products, are well-connected.
• Devise and support radio frequencies (RF) link performance, reliability, and quality.
• Enable data and system protection by developing and maintaining mechanisms for backing up and retrieval.
• Collaborate with different teams to ensure the optimized performance of VoIP and other wireless telecommunication devices.
• Work with security team to evaluate threats, troubleshoot issues, and comply with appropriate security configuration standards of their organizations.
• Design and deploy changes to the configurations of clients as per the applicable change management process.
• Proactively handle all network security solutions.
• Make use of testing and diagnostic tools to assess and modify equipment.

This position requires hybrid work mode and needs your presence in the office for at least 60% of the workdays every week.
