Technical Test Lead

Infosys is seeking a Technical Test Lead,

As a Technical Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Toronto, ON or Mississauga, ON or must be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within Canada.
• 4 years of Information Technology experience
• 4 years of experience in Automation and testing Skills in creating Test Strategy, Test scenarios and Test cases with hands on technical knowledge
• 8 - 10 year(s) of progressive roles managing IT quality assurance and control within software/systems development processes.
• Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in Quality Assurance engineering methodologies to achieve an efficient testing effort that delivers a quality system to its customers including the following areas:
• Experience in delivering in Agile.
• Exceptional self-management and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience working in partnership with consultants, vendors, and service providers.
• Good understanding of automation concepts i.e., compiling & debugging automation scripts
• Experience in defining and executing test cases based on business requirements and use cases.
• Experience in working with Remote Teams based in different time zones.
• Create Test Strategy, Test plan and Test Summary Report and gaining project key stakeholders' approval.
• Test estimation, test scheduling, identifying required test resources and end-to-end coordination of all applicable testing phases.
• Create and communicate ongoing Project Test Progress/Status Report
• Creation and Test Execution of manual Test Cases using ADO or other tools.
• Managing Testing Incident/Defect Triage & resolution meetings
• Identification of high priority regression testing test scenarios
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the software testing process/ automated test management tools and QA methodology.
• Expertise in automation and experience with modern testing tooling (As examples: Python, JavaScript, Postman, JMeter, Blazemeter, Selenium).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Great attention to detail
• Strong experience in creating and executing test cases.
• Ability to identify 'good candidates' for test cases for automation.

• Experience in understanding the product, analyzing user stories, performing design analysis, developing Virtual Services and API Test scenarios for validation
• 5 years of experience in Rest Assured, SoapUI, Postman
• 5 years of experience in Java and Selenium, WebDriver IO and JavaScript.
• 2 years of experience Service Virilization (DevTest, ParaSoft)
• Mac, PC, iOS/Android mobile testing experience
• Chrome, Edge and other Browser testing experience
• Knowledge of Azure services (including ADO)
• Ability to identify 'good candidate' test cases for automation.
