Infosys is seeking a support lead with Python and Oracle hands on experience. The position will primarily be responsible for providing support on custom IT applications catering to supply chain area for the client. The selected candidate should have good technical knowledge, analytical ability, good communication and previous support experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 2 Years of experience working in supporting Python and Oracle pl/sql applications.
- Good hands-on knowledge of Python scripting, using pandas data frame etc.
- Good knowledge of Oracle pl/sql, packages, procedures, functions, db links, performance tuning concepts, working with explain, plan and AWR reports, usage of analytical functions
- Good problem-solving skills and attitude to learn, grow and work successfully as a team player
- Should have good understanding of support service level agreements and how to adhere to them in day-to-day work
- Should be able to analyze the root cause of the reported issue

- Knowledge on change management process followed in support services is preferred.
- Should be able to work in a team spread across the globe in an onsite-offshore model
- Should be able to take proactive ownership of tasks, follow up with incident closures with users or other stakeholders.
- Should be flexible to work on on-call weekend shifts on a rotational basis within the team
- Should have good understanding of prioritizing work based on incident / event priority in a support environment
