Infosys is seeking Sr. Full Stack Java Developer. This position will work with key collaborators and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design, play a meaningful role in creating the high-level design artifacts, deliver high quality code results for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Java-based web applications using Java 11 and Spring Boot and develop API.
  • Should have Worked in all phases of the Software development life cycle (SDLC) starting from requirement gathering, designing functional document to implementation, delivery, test planning, execution and production support.
  • Knowledge on Agile Methodology (scrum process), and understanding of all key scrum ceremonies like story grooming, etc.
  • Develop the components using React/Angular 8 needed for the application from the scratch and customizing from various.
  • Ensure Sprint dedication and release goals are met, understand program/ project objectives, and meet the release goals.
  • Metrics to be met as per agreed SLA for the team.
  • Own the team on technical guidance, mentoring as needed.
  • Coordinate with offshore team, client team and take end to end responsibility of project delivery.
  • Customer management, weekly reports/ governance, and cadence with ITPMs, Architects as needed.

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Experience with Java8/J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot and frameworks like Spring, Spring-boot, Hibernate1.x version/JPA, web-services, REST services, API Security, OAuth, Spring Security Framework etc.
  • At least 1 year of Experience with React JS/Angular.
  • Experience working with Pivotal cloud Foundry (PCF) or Azure or AWS.
  • Experience in software development life cycle.
  • Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in software development life cycle.
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple partners.
  • Preferred Lead experience of minimum 3-4 members team.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in design and architecture review.
  • DevOps / GitHub / Deployment and good understanding of Jenkins and manual deployments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
