  • We are seeking an experienced consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of the Newgen Records Management system. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the system aligns with the organization's business goals and IT strategy while ensuring successful project delivery. This position requires strong technical expertise, stakeholder management, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The candidate will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

  • Skills /Competencies:
  • Essential Skills:
    • Solid understanding of ECM Products like Newgen OmniDocs, Records Management System, OpenText and similar products.
    • Design end-to-end solutions for the implementation of the Newgen Records Management product, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
    • Define integration strategies with existing systems, including ERP, CRM, and document management platforms
    • Lead technical discussions and decisions across project teams and stakeholders.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers and other technical staff.
    • Develop and maintain architectural artifacts, including diagrams, documentation, and standards.
    • Collaborate with project managers to define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Ensure the solution is delivered on time and meets quality standards.
    • Identify risks and devise mitigation strategies during the implementation lifecycle.
    • Oversee the customization of the Newgen platform to meet unique business needs.
    • Define and implement integration points with third-party tools and legacy systems .
    • Ensure data migration strategies align with organizational policies and compliance requirements
    • Follow industry best practices
    • Prepare the release schedule and deployment plans
    • Follow organizational policies related to risks control, data privacy and data security
    • Stakeholder management
    • Provide inputs and participate in program progress and act as the first level of escalation on migration activities
    • Able to respond to most situations with limited guidance and formulate alternative courses of action on more complex information with additional guidance from seniors .
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Degree/Degree in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
  • Preferred skills
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 3 years focused on records management or ECM (Enterprise Content Management) systems.
    • Proven expertise in implementing the Newgen Records Management product or similar ECM platforms.
    • Strong understanding of records management principles, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
    • Experience with system integration, data migration, and API-based architectures.
    • Familiarity with database technologies, web services, and cloud-based infrastructure.
    • Newgen Product Certification (if available).
    • TOGAF, ITIL, or similar architecture certifications.
    Qualification Discipline Bachelor of Technology Computer Science
    Master of Computer Applications Computer Science

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
