Infosys is seeking a highly experienced Snowflake Technical BI and Data Lead with Data Engineering background. In this role, you would be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency for identifying weaknesses in processes, data, and systems, and driving improvements. You will also be responsible for investigating and resolving data issues across platforms and applications. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions, lead, and participate in sales and pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Omaha,NE, or be willing to relocate to the area.
  • All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 3 years of experience with BI and Data Warehousing.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake database and ETL pipelines.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in Snowflake features like clustering, time travel, cloning, logical data warehouse, caching etc.
  • At least 1 year of experience in IICS Data integration or Application Integration components.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Power BI is required.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts
  • Proficient in writing complex SQLs, expertise in performance tuning of SQLs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Retail domain is nice to have.
  • Strong skills in Python scripting and programming
  • Experience in design and implementing a tiered data architecture that integrates analytics data from multiple sources in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Demonstrated success in building RESTful API Integration using IICS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work well under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in developing data models and mapping rules to transform raw data into actionable insights and reports.
  • Experience in collaborating with the analytics and business teams to understand their requirements, with cross-functional teams to define and implement data governance policies and standards.
  • Experience in developing data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data quality and accuracy is met.
  • A demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
