We are looking for a Snowflake Cloud Architect to join our team and help us lead the migration of our data warehouse from Teradata to Snowflake. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our Snowflake environment, as well as developing and executing our data quality and master data management strategies. You should have a deep understanding of Snowflake architecture and best practices, as well as experience with Teradata, Denodo, and other data warehouse technologies. Experience in the telecom industry is preferred.

Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement data governance policies and procedures
Lead the migration of our data warehouse from Teradata to Snowflake
Monitor and optimize the performance of our Snowflake environment
Troubleshoot and resolve Snowflake-related issues
Stay up-to-date on the latest Snowflake features and best practices
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with Snowflake architecture and best practices
5+ years of experience with Teradata and Denodo, or other data warehouse technologies
3+ years of experience with data quality and master data management
Experience in the telecom industry is preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with data engineering tools and technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka
Experience with data modeling and database design
Experience with SQL and programming languages such as Python or Java
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 98570 to $ 113678
