Infosys is seeking ServiceNow ITOM Event Management Architect. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with Executive Stakeholders, Business Stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts. Essential Job Duties include working on complex ServiceNow deployments aligned to Industry best practices and translating functional & technical requirements into implementation work package.

Required Qualification:

  • Candidate must live within commuting distance of Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 10 years of development, configuration, and integration experience in building solution on ServiceNow platform.
  • Design, configure, and deployment of ServiceNow ITOM modules leveraging industry best practices and standards.
  • Provide technical and thought leadership in both system integration and application development, while also promoting best practices in these areas.
  • Contribute to the technical direction, recommend, and design the solution to leverage the ServiceNow best practices and out of the box functionality.
  • Contribute to internal artifacts and deliverables to ensure they meet solution requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain technical specifications and documents, architecture diagrams, system documentation, and manuals.
  • Troubleshoot production and test issues; perform root cause analysis, recommend corrective action, and perform resolution efforts.
  • Maintain instance integrity & security based on ServiceNow best practices.
  • Provide functional expertise as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all application suites respective to their product line.
  • Contribute to the sizing and scoping of product line projects for ServiceNow - ITOM.
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex, multi-tier, multi-tenant, end-to-end solutions in a high availability environment.
  • Good knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB and CSDM data model.
  • Understands Discovery scheduling and potential network impacts.
  • Experience with net-new implementations of Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping; can relay best practices to clients.
  • Understands CMDB relationships and hierarchy, experience in CMDB Health dashboard configuration and with CMDB remediation including duplicate and stale CI items.
  • Understanding of the Identification and Reconciliation engine.
  • Understanding of platform security and integration best practices.
  • Understating the concepts of AIOps and HLA, AL/ML and Regex.

  • ServiceNow CIS-Discovery, ServiceNow CIS-Service Mapping.
  • Good knowledge on custom discovery - Akamai, APIGee, Kong, Rancher Kubernetes, NGINX, Cassandra, Yugabyte, Redis, Kafka, Monga DB, Netezza etc.
  • Lead requirements gathering workshops with internal business stakeholders to provide technical guidance, and assist with capturing all necessary business, functional and technical requirements necessary to design and implement the solution.
  • Oversee developers work, and own overall quality and delivery of development.
  • Responsible for sprint demos internally, delivery of additional development artifacts and documentation, and knowledge transfer activities as required.
  • Work collaboratively with ServiceNow team and business stakeholders to monitor for scope creep and resolve critical path technical issues and challenges.
  • Proven success on projects with large-scale deployments; understanding of infra domain life-cycle management.
  • Capable of executing hands-on development for stories that cannot be delegated.
  • Ability to develop high level design documents addressing the business, infrastructure, security, support, and operational needs of a solution.
  • Good knowledge of multi data center deployment solutions with disaster recovery procedures and high availability at every layer (network, web servers, middleware, and database/storage).
  • Good knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB CSDM data model.
  • Experience with Java, HTML, JavaScript, LDAP/Active Directory, networking and database administration.
  • Working knowledge of configuration management tools, methods, and processes.
  • Basic knowledge and awareness of various other modules like ITSM.
