Short Description:ServiceNow Architect
Location: Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane, Australia
Salary Range: AUD129,311 - 142,018 (Annual Gross)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Enterprise Architecture Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions aligned with business goals and IT strategies, ensuring architecture is scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Solution Design & Development: Design high-level architectures for complex ServiceNow implementations across multiple ServiceNow modules, ensuring optimal integration with other enterprise systems.
  • ServiceNow Platform Governance: Define and enforce governance practices for ServiceNow platform, ensuring compliance with architecture standards, security protocols, and ServiceNow best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, administrators, and junior architects, ensuring team members adhere to architectural standards.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest ServiceNow platform features, industry trends, and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure solutions are designed with security, compliance, and data privacy in mind, adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Performance & Optimization: Oversee system performance optimization and scalability planning, ensuring efficient operation of the ServiceNow platform under varying workloads.
  • Complex Issue Resolution: Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex platform issues, providing technical solutions for performance bottlenecks and system integration challenges.
  • Project Management Support: Work closely with project managers to ensure that projects are executed according to agreed timelines and budgets, offering architecture guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • ServiceNow Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain the ServiceNow roadmap, aligning it with business objectives and long-term technology strategies.
  • Vendor and Partner Coordination: Work closely with ServiceNow partners and vendors to ensure seamless implementation of solutions and adherence to best practices.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed architecture and design documentation, as well as executive-level reports and presentations to communicate technical strategies and outcomes to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD and other modules.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a technical team.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • 10+ years of experience managing the ServiceNow Platform
  • Good to have ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) Certification is required.
Education:
  • Degree/Diploma in IT or equivalent.
  • ITIL certification would be an advantage.
  • Industry recognized IT certifications.
