Infosys Public Services is currently looking for a Senior Unemployment Insurance Tax Business Analyst to join IPS.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
The Consultant will provide expert-level industry knowledge as the senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) in developing Unemployment Insurance Tax requirements. This position will be hands-on in the creation of user stories and other system requirement documents as well as providing leadership to other SME's and/or Business Analysts.
This position is responsible for providing input into the creation of project plans and meeting the deadlines established in the project plans. This role will also lead and organize content responses to proposals by ensuring that the responses meet the customer requirements thoroughly and completely and conform to the established "win themes" of the overall proposal response. This role will also coordinate and participate in oral presentations, showing customers how to manage unemployment insurance taxes.

Required Skills:
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to lead and participate in proposal responses, oral presentations, and other pre-sales activities.
  • Must be comfortable and confident presenting to and meeting with client C-Level leadership.
  • 4+ years of experience in the Unemployment Insurance Tax domain.
  • Must have experience in delivering Unemployment Insurance Tax programs.
  • Must have been a Business Analyst on at least one Unemployment Insurance Tax modernization project.
  • Must have experience writing User Stories.
  • Must have direct experience gathering and communicating business requirements to technical staff.
  • Must be able to review and enhance the design products created by Subject Matter Experts to allow for faster more accurate consumption by related parties.
Preferred skills:
  • Commercial software development and ongoing support.
  • Unemployment Insurance or other Insurance related products.
  • Relevant salesforce certifications.
  • Be flexible when meeting with resources in varying time zones outside of normal work hours.
  • Travel to client site (up to 50%) but may be higher or lower based on the client engagement.

Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
