Senior SAP BPC Planning Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Senior SAP BPC Planning Consultant

This position requires a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Location for this Position is Houston, TX. This position may require travel within the US.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in BPC (Planning) 4+ years
• BPC classic modeling, data manager packages, logic scripts - development, enhancements, trouble shooting
• EPM reporting, planning templates - development, enhancements, trouble shooting
• BPC jobs scheduling, executing and data reconciliation in BPC models after running BPC jobs
• Microsoft excel skills - vlookup, hlookup, excel formatting, BPC EPM excel formulae & commands, vba code review/updates
• BPC admin client usage for dimension maintenance, attributes maintenance, updates to script logics, review BPC user security
• Modeling & development in HANA Studio - ADSO, composite providers, expert routines-based transformations
• Process chains development, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting
• SAP GUI ztable updates, transports management for BW/4HANA objects
• SAP ABAP/4 programming for BW/4 HANA in SAP GUI & HANA Studio
• Info provider maintenance - ADO data loads, data deletes, data compression, troubleshooting info provider loads
• Excellent communication and Client handling skills

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
