Job Summary:
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the IT portfolio within the agricultural biotechnology domain. This role involves managing multiple IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving the successful delivery of technology solutions that support the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Management: Oversee the IT portfolio, ensuring projects are aligned with business objectives and strategic goals.
• Project Oversight: Manage multiple IT projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure project alignment with business priorities.
• Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively across projects, ensuring optimal utilization and balancing competing demands.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT projects, ensuring proactive measures are in place to address potential issues.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and report on progress to senior management.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and the adoption of best practices in project management.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Budget Management: Manage the IT portfolio budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure all IT projects comply with regulatory requirements and adhere to security best practices.
• RFP Expertise: Crafting clear, concise proposals that effectively communicate solutions, and set the foundation for successful partnerships.
• Data Lake Creation: Work with different stakeholders to create data lakes using Data bricks / Snowflake, implementing data mesh and data management principles.
• Agronomic Model Development: Lead the team in building complex Agronomic models using environmental and agricultural knowledge.
• AWS Solutions: Collaborate with AWS to build complex digital solutions for various stakeholders.
• R&D Digital Solutions: Lead the team in developing digital solutions for R&D, working with unstructured data.
• Plant Phenotype Tools Coordination: Act as the single point of contact for stakeholders, coordinating all plant phenotype tools.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in IT portfolio management, preferably within the agricultural biotechnology sector.
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects with experience working in Global Delivery Model.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and security best practices in the IT domain.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management.
• Experience in the agricultural biotechnology and R&D sector is essential.
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence for Active Ingredient discovery
• Expertise in drone image processing (storage, stitching, annotations, and analytics) and GIS solutions
• Experience with data lake technologies such as Data bricks and Snowflake.
• Understanding of data mesh concepts and data management principles.
• Knowledge of agronomic modeling and environmental factors affecting agriculture.
• Experience working with AWS and building cloud-based digital solutions.
• Familiarity with R&D processes and handling unstructured data.
• Understanding of plant phenotyping tools and technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.

Preferred Certifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• SAFe Agilist Certification
• ITIL Foundation certification & DevOps foundation are a plus.
