This role is instrumental in helping healthcare providers and payers implement advanced business and technology solutions that drive growth and optimize operations in business.

You will leverage your healthcare consulting experience, industry insights, and specialization in areas such as program management, Data Analytics, AI-driven strategies, and industry best practices to improve business performance. Specific areas of focus include leading and managing large-scale programs and projects within healthcare payers, including TriCare business initiatives.
Leads major projects, with a high focus on Medicare, Medicaid and TriCare implementations: and serves as a key customer-facing member of an Infosys Healthcare Consulting team. Contributes to the development of solutions to solve business problems and increase adoption of Infosys driven solutions. Significant contributor to customer sales pursuits and project proposals. This position is responsible for delivering actionable value across the Healthcare system.
Responsibilities:
  • Senior Principal is a member of the Healthcare consulting practice leadership team and helps drive the strategy, offerings, revenue growth, people development, and overall success of the practice.
  • Lead and manage large-scale program and projects within healthcare payers, with a high focus on Medicare, Medicaid and/or TriCare implementations.
  • Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring consistent value delivery and satisfaction
  • Oversee the development of project proposals and pricing, providing strategic guidance and solution leadership.
  • Provide overall project management, solution leadership and critical problem solving
  • Address and resolve issues within reasonable timeframes for all project components
  • Manage ad hoc client requests and provide clients with feedback on feasibility and timelines
  • Ability to delegate effectively and develop junior team members as effective consultants
  • Able to operate effectively with ambiguity, structure responses, and seek clarity from leaders
  • Directs team members in updating project plans, change of scope, risk logs, etc.
  • Provide coordination for the overall project and identifies synergies, duplication of efforts or overlap, and any project gaps.
  • Collaborate with Government agencies and consultants to develop analytic approach and methods and works with the team to prepare client deliverables
  • Leads the development of key findings, recommendations (including priorities when appropriate), and develops presentations for client executive audiences
  • Engage in research and product development to drive innovative solutions in healthcare consulting
  • Support practice management processes, including utilization, staffing, opportunity tracking, budgeting etc.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Minimum of 9 years' experience with large HealthPlan and Providers and at least 5 years of advisory consulting experience in comparable consulting services.
  • Ability to travel 4 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • An MBA with an advanced degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, business, operations, information technology, analytics
  • Strong skills and experiences on large scale program and project management in healthcare payers
  • Strong client facing skills including presentations to senior leadership, advice and consult with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, integrate and deliver informatics and business intelligence projects.
  • Understanding issues related to data analysis in healthcare Provider and Payer industry.
  • Strong planning, coordination, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to derive insight and infer business implications from data.
  • Familiarity with fundamental financial, performance, and quality measures used in the health care industry.
  • Familiarity with statistics and advanced methods such as AI/Machine Learning preferred
  • Ability to provide guidance to stakeholders in understanding the business value of the initiative.
  • Ability to interface with customers and other stakeholders with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to complete project, with demonstrated commitment to meeting deliverables.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and self-manage.
For candidates based out of CA, WA, NY states, estimated annual compensation will be $157500 to $192500
