Engineering Services (ES) is seeking a Mining Transformation specialist to help lead its growing Mining business.
TheSmart Mining transformation leader will be at the forefront of shaping, planning and driving ES clients' highest-priority initiatives, redesigning core businesses processes, and helping manage significant change across Mining business and enabling technologies.
In the role Smart Mining transformation leader, you will engage with the decision makers in the client ecosystem to define charters and business cases, set roadmaps, establish KPIs, and help design and deliver solutions while ensuring seamless project oversight and providing a challenger perspective to ensure success. You will have significant exposure to clients' business / IT leadership - to build long term relationships - and the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional experts.
As an Advisor , you should be comfortable working with our clients on their transformation strategies. You will analyze Operation capabilities, processes, people, systems, etc. and identify gaps by focusing on not only increasing short-term performance, but also meeting their long-term strategic objectives. You will be conversant with the market trends, fundamentals of Mining, partner ecosystems and competitive strategies.
As an Orchestrator , you will drive Smart Mining business transformations to deliver measurable value and outcomes. You will engage with on-site Business and IT stakeholders to drive consensus and coordinate transformations across multiple work streams (such as: Mining Solutions development, Data Strategy, Organization & Change Management, Value Realization, etc.). You will work closely with the globally distributed development team to mitigate risks and maximize project's outcomes for the client.

Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within Canada. This position may require travel, globally
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 15 years of Information Technology experience
- Experience with Smart Mining Transformation

- At least 15-years' experience in leading Mining transformation programs, leveraging technologies such as IoT, Automation / Robotics, AI, Analytics, Predictive Modeling, Digital Twin
- Demonstrated ability to Shape the business case for clients' new initiatives and overall development of transformation portfolio within the Mining business
- Demonstrated ability to work closely across functions such as Operations, Maintenance, Technology and Commercial teams to identify cost reduction & revenue generation initiatives across all Mining opportunity areas
- At least 15-years' experience in Business / Enterprise level program management, with demonstrated aptitude in delivering quality results in an Agile fashion
- Understanding of how to use data / KPIs to track value, and manage value delivery risks
- Technical aptitude, critical thinking abilities, excellent communication skills, and adaptability
- Experience in interacting with Change Management teams to drive end-user's adoption in a Mining setting
- Previous direct people management experience
