Senior Principal Consultant - IT Applications (Front Office, Back-Office) - Infosys Consulting Position Overview: As a Senior Principal Consultant specializing in IT Applications, you will lead and manage multiple high-impact, complex projects that involve analyzing, designing, and implementing separation and integration of IT applications (front office and back office) that include ERP and non- ERP applications which can be COTS or custom. You will leverage your experience to provide IT strategic direction, drive operational excellence, and liaise with business process owners and application owners to ensure that the IT applications are setup to run the business operations after business separation or integration.   • Provide vision and leadership to several IT Application projects, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and long-term IT roadmap.
  • Develop and present strategic roadmaps for IT applications across workstreams including transformation, focusing on standardization, efficiency, and cost savings.
  • Partner with C-level executives to define and execute IT application strategies that support business growth, transformation, and resilience.
  • Act as thought leaders in the IT application and business domain, guiding the adoption of emerging technologies and innovative practices.
  • Lead the development and execution of IT strategies during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless separation or integration and realization of synergies.
Business Development and Sales:
  • Drive IT M&A consulting business development and sales initiatives, leading the creation of proposal and effective solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive execution plans, detailed cost estimates, and risk assessments to ensure successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Strategically identify and cultivate business opportunities and long term relationship with clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive market and client research to identify trends, informed business growth strategies and position Infosys consulting as leader in IT application consulting space.
IT Application Management:
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and resilient IT applications, including ERP and non-ERP applications for front and back-office purpose.
  • Lead and guide Day 1 and TSA exit planning across all functional area.
  • Manage application separation and integration for the organization.
  • Lead and guide development of strategies for standardization of business processes and applications.
  • Lead and provide guidance to create solutions for end-to-end business requirements including extension of functionality in existing ERP and non-ERP applications and selection of new best of breed COTS packages, if required.
  • Lead and provide guidance to create project plans and manage them. Highlight the end-to-end process and program risks and issues and creating mitigation plans.
  • Manage and guide cross functional area testing cycles (SIT and UAT) including end-to-end business process scenarios.
Integration:
  • Lead and guide creation offend to end system landscape diagram.
  • Lead and guide creation of high-level integration strategy.
  • Manage integration activities across systems and guide the teams to ensure scalability and flexibility.
  • Provide guidance to ensure end to end testing of integrations across systems.
Data migration:
  • Lead and guide creation of data migration strategy for all master and transaction data elements for the program
  • Lead and guide data migration activities including data mapping, data extraction, transformation, and upload.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored IT solutions.
  • Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to client executives in a clear and concise manner.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, guiding stakeholders through complex IT transformation processes.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and mentor senior project teams, ensuring clear communication, effective collaboration, and timely delivery of milestones.
Project / Program Management:
  • Oversee complex project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure goals and timelines are met.
  • Implement and monitor advanced key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project success, including uptime, incident resolution time, and cost savings.
Thought Leadership & Practice Development:
  • Collaborate with other service lines to create innovative joint offerings.
  • Share insights through high-impact blogs, white papers, and other thought leadership.
  • Assist in incorporating cutting-edge IT application tools and processes.
  • Coach and lead other consultants and actively participate in the performance management process.
  • Help recruit and retain top-quality consultants.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 9+ years in IT applications (ERP and non-ERP) management, with significant exposure in designing and implementing solutions for business requirements. .
  • Consulting or client-facing experience at a senior level required.
  • M&A experience is required.
  • Deep understanding of different functional areas (finance, commercial, supply chain and logistics, supply chain planning, manufacturing, engineering, procurement, HR).
  • ERP or major business application implementation experience is required.
  • Application selection and implementation experience
  • Application implementation and rollout experience or M&A application separation/ integration experience is beneficial.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 100%.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Solid program/project management skills, including interviewing clients, process mapping, project planning, and stakeholder communication.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, application specific certifications (SAP/ Oracle/ SFDC etc.) are desirable but not required.
