Short Description:
Infosys Australia is looking for a hands-on HR Business Partner to join their business and be part of a fun, supportive and collaborative team. Reporting to the Australia & New Zealand HR Manager, this role is based in Melbourne, VIC. As part of a close-knit HR team, you will be responsible for the employees across Australia and provide support across a range of HR activities while also having the opportunity to be involved in a variety of HR projects.

Years of EXP: 10+ years of HR experience (HR Generalist with strong Employee Relations experience)

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders and drive HR strategies for the region. Should be able to design and implement HR strategies that align with our business goals.
  • Need to play a key role in driving compensation & benefit for the region and design and implement a rewards mechanism.
  • Should possess strong analytical skills to assess data and provide insights which can help in influencing decisions with business.
  • The candidate should have excellent communication skills and should be able to collaborate with business stakeholders.
  • Execute and support unit specific performance management framework and initiatives including program management of appraisal cycles and employee review process. Conduct training sessions for managers on the performance management and development program
  • Work closely with the senior business stakeholders with the ability to perform in a fast paced work environment.
  • Coordinate and execute training / competency development initiatives. Track completion of training/certification in order to build the required competencies
  • Support and Co-ordinate with HR Lead on closure of employee issues - works closely with the offshore delivery and HR SPOC to ensure closure
  • Prepare and publish reports on HR solutions/various HR initiatives
  • Contribution to HR initiatives or project teams focused on increasing organisational effectiveness
  • Drive employee engagement for your respective portfolio. Develop initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and workplace culture.
Skill/Experience Requirements:
Essential
  • Proven experience in a similar position
  • Experience dealing with the full range of employee life- cycle.
  • Strong HR generalist skill-set performance enablement and coaching managers
  • Strong Employee Relation experience in managing investigations and disciplinary measures within the framework of internal policy and local legislation
  • Experience in working in multicultural, international business and working across multiple time zones
Tertiary Qualification
Preferred:
  • 10+ years of HR experience (preferably generalist/ Business Partner HR)
  • Experience in an ICT / Professional Services organization will be preferred
  • Strong Knowledge of ANZ specific ER practices and processes
Additional skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven experience working in diverse and multi-cultural environments
  • Experience managing stakeholders with confidence, flexibility and autonomy
  • Sound administration and organisation skills with a proactive, "can do" attitude
  • Capacity to multi-task and work autonomously
