Role: - Senior Lead Analyst - Knowledge Service (Project Manager)
Location: - Sydney
Status - 6 Month fixed term, extendable based on project requirement
NOTE - Only applicants with Australia full work right, i.e., holding a valid visa will be considered for the role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop, implement, and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with senior leadership, business units, IT teams, and third-party vendors to define project goals, gather requirements, and provide regular status updates.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and ensure timely resolution of project challenges.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure all projects comply with Australian banking regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring all members are aligned with project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare and deliver regular project reports, including progress updates, risks, and key milestones, to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Capture lessons learned and recommend process improvements for future projects to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Project Manager in the Australian banking sector, with hands-on experience in managing end-to-end project lifecycles.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Australian banking industry, including financial products, services, regulatory frameworks, and operational challenges.
  • Project Management Certifications: A recognized project management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Agile certification is highly desirable.
  • Proven Track Record: Successful history of delivering complex, high-value projects within the banking or financial services industry, particularly with a focus on compliance, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders and external vendors effectively.
  • Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex project information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Location: Must be based in Sydney, Australia, and available for in-office collaboration.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • A degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project), and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in delivering IT infrastructure projects or systems implementations within the banking sector is an advantage.
