Short Description:
In the role of Senior Consultant, you will be expected to leverage your domain expertise to support a wide range of safety and production critical Operational Technology (OT) to prevent or minimise impacts caused by failure in critical technology services.
Roles and Responsibilities:
For you to be successful in obtaining this role you will need to possess the following:
- At least 5 years of experience with Information Technology and Mining Production systems.
- Strong understanding of Fleet Management Systems (at least 3 to 5 years).
- Ability to provide in-person and remote level 1 support for Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) production systems.
- Ability and experience in proactive monitoring & event management to maintain critical service availability.
- Experience in rapidly providing break-fix solutions to restore production system availability following outages.
- Experience in engaging with multiple stakeholders to resolve production system faults.
- Strong communication skills and customer service ethic.
Skills /Competencies:
Essential:
- Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Technical IT/OT aptitude and skill.
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Mining domain.
- Resourceful in escalating to Level 2 and Level 3 support team after triage for quick resolution.
- Self-motivated to drive continuous improvement initiatives in a 24x7 office environment.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL processes.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good team collaboration, proactive time management and high attention to detail.
- Experience with application system support.
- Basic understanding of Networks and Hosting systems.
- Familiarisation of Fleet Management Systems. Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
- Excellent customer interfacing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
