Salary: AUD 108,571-119,893 (Annual Gross)

Short Description:
In the role of Senior Consultant, you will be expected to leverage your domain expertise to support a wide range of safety and production critical Operational Technology (OT) to prevent or minimise impacts caused by failure in critical technology services.

Roles and Responsibilities:
For you to be successful in obtaining this role you will need to possess the following:
  • At least 5 years of experience with Information Technology and Mining Production systems.
  • Strong understanding of Fleet Management Systems (at least 3 to 5 years).
  • Ability to provide in-person and remote level 1 support for Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) production systems.
  • Ability and experience in proactive monitoring & event management to maintain critical service availability.
  • Experience in rapidly providing break-fix solutions to restore production system availability following outages.
  • Experience in engaging with multiple stakeholders to resolve production system faults.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service ethic.
This role involves working in a pattern of day and night shifts, with a block of days off at the end of each swing.

Skills /Competencies:

Essential:
  • Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Technical IT/OT aptitude and skill.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Mining domain.
  • Resourceful in escalating to Level 2 and Level 3 support team after triage for quick resolution.
  • Self-motivated to drive continuous improvement initiatives in a 24x7 office environment.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL processes.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good team collaboration, proactive time management and high attention to detail.
Preferred :
  • Experience with application system support.
  • Basic understanding of Networks and Hosting systems.
  • Familiarisation of Fleet Management Systems. Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
Additional Skills:
  • Excellent customer interfacing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
