Infosys is seeking Senior Consultant-Ignition This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Columbus, IN Or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Require 4+ years of full stack development experience in analysis, design, development and testing for the given skill set which include, but not limited to, the following:
Ignition (UI, etc.)
Web Integration (REST, SOAP)
PLC Communication (Read/Write via Ignition)
Database Communication(Read/Write)
Event Scripting (Python, Java, VB, etc.)
mobile robotic automation
Support integration and functional testing/UAT. Engages with Business users in defining UAT test plans.
Creates / updates documents related to the application.
Split time between Cummins CMEP and Cummins CEP plants
Collaborations and Communication directly with Plant Stakeholders including IT, Controls, and Industrial Engineers.
Web API Experience
REST, SOAP
Database Experience: Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, etc.
Database Design Experience preferred
Python Experience
Good written and verbal communication skills

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
