Role - Senior Consultant
Technology - Java/Spring boot and Cloud
Location - Nuremberg, Germany
Skillset
Candidate should be proficient in Java development with strong knowledge in Spring/Spring Boot framework. Candidate is expected to have hands-on experience in applying design principles like SOLID and implementing design patterns. Candidate should have experience in developing applications using microservices and event-driven architecture. Knowledge or experience in any of the cloud platforms and using the SDKs is preferable. Candidate should be able to understand the high level architectural solutions, come up with the low level design and implement the business logic using the best practices. Should have experience in delivering projects using agile methodology. Candidate should be able to leverage partner technologies; participate in competency development with the objective of ensuring best-fit and high technical solutions and creating thought leadership in following technologies.

B1 level German language capability is a must.
- Java, Spring, Spring Boot
- Cloud native application development
- API development using REST/SOAP
- Microservices/Event-Driven architecture
- TDD with strong knowledge in automated testing frameworks like Junit and Spring Test
- Docker, Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
- Experience in development using Agile methodology
- Experience in any NoSQL database like Cassandra, MongoDB, Couchbase, etc is a plus
- Experience in Kafka is a plus
- Search Engines like ElasticSearch/Solr is a plus
- Experience in leading a team is a plus
- Knowledge/Experience in one or more cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP and their SDK is a plus
- Responsible for successful technical delivery of code and design documents
- Responsible to evaluate and review design frameworks and methodologies.
- Responsible for organizing, documenting and review work items scope from technical point of view.
- Responsible for scoping, designing, development, reviews and complete delivery from technical end.
- Review and validate estimates for complex projects to ensure correct sizing of work.
- Participates in POCs, validate complex technical solution, perform estimates and collateral consolidation.
- Lead and coach a team of junior developers
- Co-ordinate with Architects and QA teams
The deliverables would be clearly identified and mutually agreed at the beginning of each phase. The typical deliverables that would be created are as below:
- Creation of Technical Specification documents aligned with functional specification.
- Hands on development adhering to industry/client standard software development guidelines
- Code reviews
- Leading the development team
- Coordinate/Monitor large scale software deployments and debug issues
