Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled L3 Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco routing and switching, Aruba wireless and LAN, Versa SD-WAN, Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, and Fortinet firewalls. The ideal candidate will also possess Ansible or Python coding skills, which will be considered a valuable addition to the role.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide advanced technical support for complex network issues, focusing on Cisco routing and switching, Aruba wireless and LAN, Versa SD-WAN, Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, and Fortinet firewalls.

2. Handle escalations from L2 teams, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

3. Lead and execute projects for the Network Operations Center (NOC), including network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize network solutions based on business requirements.

5. Maintain documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the team.

6. Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance network performance, reliability, and security.

7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve skills and contribute to the advancement of the organization's network infrastructure.

Requirements:

1. Extensive experience in network engineering roles, with a focus on Cisco routing and switching, Aruba wireless and LAN, Versa SD-WAN, Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, and Fortinet firewalls.

2. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex network issues efficiently.

3. Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Python scripting is preferred.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

5. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

6. Industry certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSE, or equivalent are a plus.

7. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation schedule and work outside of regular business hours when required.
