Job Description:
Within the Enterprise Quality Consulting division, Infosys is seeking a senior level DevOps/Agile Coaching and Consulting Professional able to interact effectively with Client executives, lead high performing, multidisciplinary consulting teams as well as large transformation programs. This role will serve as a trusted advisor focusing on Agile transformation/coaching programs across the industry verticals.

The DevOps Consultant will be a seasoned technical developer with a wide range of experience in multiple languages, tooling and Agile coaching from a highly technical practice perspective. A demonstrated drive on continued learning of new technologies is needed along with an open and flexible view on new technical possibilities.

Your role:
In the role of a Senior Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes, deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Responsibilities:

DevOps & SRE Implementation
• Define Enterprise-wide DevOps /SRE program strategy, roadmap, maturity model, measurements implementing DevOps across landscape
• Hands on experience in Implementing DevOps/ SRE capabilities / Practices across different applications & technologies, this includes progressing ALM tool and its migration, CI/CD/CT with Security, and Infra/Application Monitoring
Coaching & Team Enablement
• Provide coaching to development teams on DevSecOps and SRE Ways of working, emphasizing best practices on Branching & Merging, Code Quality and Security, Build and Deployment and Infra and Application monitoring.
• Guide teams through the implementation of DevOps/SRE tools and processes to enhance efficiency and delivery speed.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
• Work with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, Agile practices, and delivery expectations.
• Partner with IT, operations, and development teams to establish a shared vision of DevOps practices that drive continuous delivery.
• Ability to establish a strong working relationship with clients and building new business for the DevOps/ SRE practice.
Continuous Improvement
• Willingness to contribute to the growth and vitality of the DevOps/ SRE Consulting practices in various roles such as collateral development and methodology development.
• Outcome driven KPI definition and implementation leveraging DORA metrics
Tooling and Automation:
• Design/Implement/Manage end-end Agile+DevOps+SRE toolchains, ensuring seamless integration of business requirements, CI/CD, version control and automation tools.
• Continuously Integration/Automate and upgrade DevOps tool orchestration to align with industry best practices and evolving client requirements.

Core Competencies
• Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and practical knowledge of Agile scaling models.
• DevOps certification such as CKA, CDA, Terraform Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert, Cloud Certification or equivalent.
• Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Hands-on expertise with DevOps Tool Ecosystem (Jenkins, Git, Sonar, Maven, Nexus etc)
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and automation techniques (Ansible, Terraform, ARM likewise).
• Functional understanding of containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Experience in deploying, managing and monitoring applications and services on one or more Cloud and on-premises infrastructure like AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Cloud Foundry, Open shift etc.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coach teams and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate team dynamics, manage conflicts, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Ability to align Agile and DevOps practices with business goals to deliver high-value outcomes.
• Experience working across different industries and understanding the impact of Agile/DevOps in various domains.
Experience in Agile coaching, DevOps consulting, or related roles.
Agile and DevOps certifications (Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, AWS/Azure certifications) are preferred.
Experience in implementing and coaching Agile and DevOps practices across diverse teams and industries.
