Job Description Principal Responsibilities
- Provide technical pre-sales support in articulating infrastructure design with in-depth product knowledge of minimum two technology domain as identified by CLIENT as long-term strategy (refer to table below).
- Drive solution sales by understanding clients' technical needs, translating identified needs into solutions
- Soft skills development that are identified by CLIENT such as sales and communication related
- Proposal Preparation
Communicate with internal or external client for requirement gathering using phone or collaboration tools Craft initial bill of material / configuration for complex solution. Identify the suitable model to be proposed based on capacity, features and client IT environment needs Identify and map client support services need (maintenance) into CLIENT services offering. Incorporate support services and managed services ideas into proposal Generate customized proposal, translating client business needs into technical solution. Understand client current infrastructure environment and propose relevant solutions and technical services scope of work that are required for end-to-end implementation. Ability to facilitate and lead complex solutioning. Work with client, vendors, and internal team and responsible for end-to-end integration and design. Estimate man days effort and craft project implementation work breakdown structure and timelines. Analyse competitor landscape in among manufacturer products and system integration. Articulate strength of CLIENT's value and strength through competitive CLIENT solution and services proposition. Drawing of network diagram in Visio and prepare PowerPoint presentation, in a structured manner translating business requirements into technical design and demonstrates CLIENT strength and solutions fitness. - Adherence to CLIENT sales, process, and collaboration tools to communicate and deliver results.
Experience and Skill Requirements: A bachelor's degree in computer science or computer/Electronics/IT/Telecom Engineering Minimum 5-7 years relevant presales or consulting experience, with proven track record on winning and leading complex solutioning deals. Preferred 5 years of implementation, design, and consulting experience. Possess excellent technical sales and communications skills. Have passion in new technologies and self-motivated learning. Excellent skills in Microsoft excel to consolidate complex bill of materials and design synchronization. Excellent skill in Microsoft word, able to use TOC, Styling, Caption to automate proposal templates. Good understanding of VMs, Operating systems - Linux / Windows, Load Balancer and Network configurations, Storage and Data center technologies. Knowledge of fundamental data center technologies including unified computing, data center network virtualization, Cisco data center networking technologies, data center automation and orchestration. Excellent understanding and experience with enterprise firewalls and network security Experience with Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Checkpoint, or Juniper Net Screen firewalls a plus. Palo Alto, Juniper Firewall knowledge and experience is essential. Any of the below Professional Certification: - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is required.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - is required.
- Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) & CCIE - added advantage.
- Any intermediate or advance certification based on the vendor listed below.
