Role: - Senior Associate Consultant (Business Analyst-Collections)

Location: - Sydney

Status - 3 months fixed term, extendable based on project requirement

NOTE - Only applicants with Australia full work right, i.e., holding a valid visa will be considered for the role.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in financial services, particularly in collections processes.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and document business processes.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to monitor collections performance and generate reports.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting activities.
  • Work with IT teams to implement and maintain collections systems and software.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to end-users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to collections processes.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including legal, compliance, and customer service teams.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
  • Ensure alignment of collections strategies with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven experience in collections processes and systems.
  • Experience in 'Experian power curve collections' platform is mandatory.

Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel/ SQL/BI tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to collections.

Preferred Certifications:
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Prince 2
  • Relevant certifications in collections or financial services
