Infosys is seeking for SAP Program Manager

This role requires close partnership and collaboration with multiple Program Managers, Infrastructure and Application Architects, Client Stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts across multiple large transformation programs. The Program Manager needs to bring in best practices and collaborate with the Project Management, Architecture and Application teams to set the Program Vision, Plan and accomplish the target state of the transformation in best possible manner and time.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 13 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • This position may require travel

Preferred Qualifications
  • Program Management Experience in managing and driving technology initiatives in Retail domain. Should have 13 years of experience in handling large SAP S4HANA transformation programs
  • Strong CXO level stakeholder management. Directly interacting with higher-level executives in both Infosys and client organizations which comprise of CTO, Vice Presidents and Senior Directors.
  • Experience in SAP Retail environment is preferred
  • Driving Predictive and Proactive monitoring strategies for the entire IT landscape. Implementation of required Tools and Frameworks to achieve the monitoring goals.
  • Advisory services to clients on their Application Landscape, Security, Application roadmap strategy, including rationalization and modernization roadmaps.
  • Program Initiation and Planning: Create integrated program plan covering multiple work streams / projects including aspects such as cost, schedule, program scope, requirements, risk, quality, communication & stakeholder management, effort estimation, resource planning, measurement criteria or metrics for every work stream and consolidate the same to arrive at the final estimate for the project.
  • Program Governance: Identify the stakeholders, Review the subprogram governance with the concerned client Program Managers
  • Set up the communication plan and escalation process
  • Reviews: Conduct program reviews with relevant stakeholders to identify / manage issues & risks and ensure smooth delivery provide delivery governance and resolve escalated project issues affecting the program.
  • Review and monitor all phases of the project (requirements gathering, design, architecture, build, testing, implementation, warranty) on a regular basis and suggest corrective actions.
  • Tracking: Track actual vs planned program progress.
    Collaborate with the Project Managers of individual projects to create / review and track the project management plan as well as subsidiary plans including the cost, schedule, staffing/pyramid management, scope, requirements, risk, quality, communication & stakeholder management.
  • Provide support and guidance on the individual projects to Project Managers and facilitate seamless integration of various pieces in the overall Program
  • Risk Management: Identify risks at the beginning in partnership with Project Manager.
  • Review issues and risks for each of the project(s) with appropriate client stakeholders, as per the risk management governance.
  • Oversee signoff of milestones with relevant stakeholders.
  • Inducting strong global talents to serve the client thereby improving workforce quality and flexible resource pool.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
