Role - Lead Consultant - SAP FICO
Location -Sydney
Role & Responsibilities
  • To facilitate the implementation and support of SAP S4/HANA finance.
  • Articulate and demonstrate S4 functionalities including Fiori applications.
  • Take ownership of the design requirements for all changes in AP Invoicing and Travel management areas.
  • follow standard SAP methodology including conducting gap analysis between business requirements and SAP solutions, analysing and preparing data migration plans, developing & executing rigorous data and process testing plans.
  • Propose and present solutions to the stakeholder groups for endorsement.
  • Engage with business stakeholders for any discussions and solution playback sessions.
  • Engage with technical teams for any developments involved and ensure the object is delivered.
  • Identify business scenarios for integration testing and business testing support.
  • Provide Functional Specifications to technical team for any custom developments.
  • Provide guidance on test plan on how to test SAP functionality for the required Business processes and ensure that all scenarios are covered.
  • Conduct unit tests based on customer defined scenarios.
  • Coordinate with other module SAP Consultants for Integration requirements.
  • Identify the cutover tasks for the objects assigned. Participate in dress rehearsal sessions for the project cutover.
  • Manage procurement data migration, cleansing and related activities.
  • Engage with the BAU team for change deployment and transition support.
Skills /Competencies/ Experience
  • SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation and conversion experience
  • Functional expertise to design, configure and test in several Finance areas including General Ledger Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center
  • Additional skills on Treasury cash and liquidity management is a plus.
  • Design and implement core finance and surround solutions as per Industry best practices
  • Sufficient knowledge required for solution Architecture, application design and delivery of Finance and procurement solutions.
  • Responsible primarily for successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
  • Acts as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses, and solves software problems and maps client business
  • Develop and maintain functional documentation for all SAP interfaces.
  • Document and update the existing SAP Business Process and work with IT and business units to modernize the SAP environment.
  • Provide status reports for projects to management
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Educational Qualifications:
  • Engineering Bachelors or Master's degree level or equivalent
