Infosys Public Services is currently seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect to join our team and help grow our Salesforce practice.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
The Architect will perform the following responsibilities:

Solution Development and Configuration:

  • Develop, configure, and review solutions using the Salesforce platform for Infosys Public Sector practice.
  • Design and implement custom solutions hosted on the Salesforce platform, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.
Best Practices Implementation:
  • Implement and advocate for best practices related to Salesforce deployment and release management.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the latest Salesforce updates and features.

  • Collaborate with Sales teams to respond to RFPs and business inquiries from new clients, providing technical expertise and innovative solutions.
  • Provide advisory support to project teams, helping to expand existing Salesforce work and ensuring successful project delivery.
Technical Guidance and Configuration:
  • Guide and configure solutions using Salesforce products and APIs, including Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, Amazon Web Services, Heroku, and related mobile and integration/ETL technologies.
  • Specialize in a Salesforce platform (e.g., Force.com (Sales, Service, Community, IoT, Einstein Clouds), Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud) to provide deep technical expertise.
Proposal and Presentation Leadership:
  • Lead the technical response areas for proposal responses, ensuring comprehensive and compelling solutions are presented.
  • Actively participate in presentations and other customer meetings, showcasing technical capabilities and solution benefits.
Deployment Tools Expertise:
  • Have sound knowledge of deployment tools such as Copado, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment processes.
Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance:
Basic Qualifications:
  • Over Eleven years of IT experience, with at least five years dedicated to Salesforce implementation and solution development.
  • Proven hands-on experience in developing solutions using the Salesforce platform.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce products and APIs, including Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, Amazon Web Services, Heroku, and related mobile and integration/ETL technologies.
  • Specialization in one or more Salesforce platforms (e.g., Force.com (Sales, Service, Community, IoT, Einstein Clouds), Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud).
  • Deployment Tools Knowledge: Proficient in deployment tools such as Copado, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of leading and participating in proposal responses, oral presentations, and other pre-sales activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Public Sector experience
  • Prior experience as an Architect using other development platforms.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
