Role Description:
As part of our Australia Public Sector team, you will play a key role in building and cultivating relationships and opportunities for the State Government Sector in the Southern States including growing existing contracts and client relationships and selling new service offerings and solutions. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative, high-quality solutions to meet our clients' business needs.

Location - Melbourne, VIC

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute regional and/or account plans.
  • Client relationship management - manage relationships with key client personnel and CXOs within existing client organisation.
  • Manage risks and issues related to customer accounts, including ensuring there is strong governance in place. Work with Delivery leadership to resolve service delivery issues.
  • Business Development - responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing opportunities within the State Government Sector in Victoria and other southern states. Using your strong knowledge of State Government environment and norms to be able to identify and develop large opportunities.
  • Identify, analyse, manage and monitor relationships with and between stakeholders, clarifying mutual needs and commitments through consultation and consideration of impacts to all stakeholders and ensure maximum benefit is gained from products and services.
  • Proactively position ideas and propositions to the client and influence the client to award business based on capability and track record in similar situations.
  • Conduct research as well as competitor analysis to define strategies that can help enable favourable outcomes.
  • Review sales plans, pursuit plan/business pipeline with Infosys leadership to ensure target achievement.
  • Apply your expert knowledge of State Government contract processes and standards, and understand the nuances of contracts and interdependencies to State Government and Infosys business drivers.
  • Conduct client presentations, workshops, and drive pricing and contract negotiations with the client.
  • Work closely with the Solution Architects and Delivery teams to build customised solution propositions for the targeted client within Victoria and other southern states.
  • Provide necessary input for building alliances with relevant product / service vendors
  • Some travel will be required to reflect the geographic dispersion of customers and prospects.
Qualifications:
  • Must have 14+ years of experience with at least last 5+ years' relevant within Public Sector.
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent along with Global Delivery Model(offshoring) experience.
  • Strong relationships and networks within the Government Sector along with good understanding of State Government specific business issues and drivers.
  • Systems oversight and project management experience, especially related to Public Sector enterprise applications, systems integration, application development and maintenance, or consulting.
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Must be an Australian Citizen due to the nature of work.
