S/4 ABAP Developer
Location: Hybrid / Any location in Mexico
As SAP Developer Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex enterprise programs and solutions which are required for business operations and enhancement projects. You will work with a team of engineers, business users or functional consultants to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related STEM field

Mandatory Technical skills:

• Strong proficiency in both classic ABAP and ABAP for S/4HANA toolsets.
• At least 5 years of experience in ABAP development in SAP ECC & S/4 HANA
• At least 3 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• At least 3 years of experience in Design and architecture review.
• Experience in developing applications across various modules such as FI/CO/SD/MM among others.
• Expertise in enhancing standard SAP functionality leveraging Enhancements framework technologies: User exists, Customer Exits, Business Transaction Events (BTE), Business Add Ins (BADI), Enhancement Spots (Implicit & Explicit), Data Dictionary Append Structures, etc.
• Form Development experience: SAP-Script, Smart-forms and Adobe Forms.
• Module pool programming experience using custom controls (ALV/Tree/Image), OLE embedding, screen flow logic, etc.
• Experience in developing data migration programs, LSMW scripts (BDC, BAPI, IDOC, Direct/Batch Input) and GUIXT scripts, LTMC tool
• Experiecen configuring and/or developing both Standard and Custom process driven business workflows.
• Experience with Interface technologies such as ALE/IDOC, Distribution model configuration, change pointers usage, ABAP-PI/PO proxies, consumption and/or creation of both local and remote Web Services.
• Expertise in report programming using ALV, classical, drill down and interactions using ALV events
• Excellent knowledge of SQL programming in the ABAP context. (Open/Native -HANA-)
• Experience in developing applications using OO techniques.
• Strong experience in ABAP on HANA, AMDP, code push down techniques, ABAP CDS views, ABAP Table Functions, ADBC, ALV IDA.
• OData services configuration and development.
• Experience in code optimization, performance tuning and runtime analysis.
• Expertise in using Code Inspector, Single Transaction Analysis, SQL Performance Trace, Runtime

Nice to Have:

• Experience in SAP Fiori development and administration.
• Fiori Elements.
• S/4HANA extensibility technologies. (Key-user, Developer, side-by-side extensibility)
• Knowledge of front-end Fiori development (HTMLS/CSS/JavaScript/SAPUI5).
• Experience working in developments & interfaces related to middleware and other third-party vendors / tools. 3PL, among others.
• RF programming expertise using RF framework.
• BRF+ application development and configuration.
• Develop Info set queries and quick viewer queries.
• ABAP RESTful programming. (RAP)
• Business Object Processing Framework. (BOPF)
• Knowledge of CTS, Solution Manager and CHARM.
• Experience in the consumption and design of SOAP and REST based services, API design.
• Test-Driven Development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop complex enterprise applications / developments using ABAP coding skills
• Develop/ document technical specification documents
• Perform Code review activities (in the event this will be required)
• Prepare documentation in English language (if required by the client).
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely delivery of SAP ABAP developments / projects.
