Infosys Public Services is seeking a Quality Analyst. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high-quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance in Mississauga, ON or be willing to relocate to the area.
  • Post Secondary Program/Certification in Computer Science or Computer Programming. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience testing multi-layer architectural applications and complex systems.
  • Understanding of automated fare collection concepts used in public transportation, preferably the PRESTO system, however other types of similar systems are also acceptable
  • Experience in testing of financial transactions and reconciliation processes: credit and debit card processing, open payments, Fare Media and associated standards
  • Extensive experience in assessing and reviewing business and system requirements - requirement analysis, verification, traceability, gap analysis, and risks.
  • Extensive experience in testing of complex enterprise and/or industrial applications including functional, non-functional, and system integration testing using requirements traceability and coverage analysis
  • Proficient in database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access)
  • Knowledge of network and data communication protocols
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License is required
  • Interface Validation: automated data file parsing and analysis using Perl or Shell scripting
  • Knowledge of public transportation operations terms/concepts and TTC business functions
  • Understanding of the concepts of Device Environmental Standards (EN 60950 and EN 50155) for electronic equipment is highly desired.
  • Please note standards may change during the term of the Contract and the Company is required to adapt to these changes.
  • Understanding QA processes based on CMMI and/or ISO standards.
  • Knowledge of various testing methodologies (waterfall, V-model, Agile)
  • Proven problem-solving skills to identify, validate and verify system and software application issues using defect management tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for knowledge exchange and transfer
  • Certified CSTE/CSQA would be an asset.
