Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP SD Consultant

As a Principal Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, identify areas of improvement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will be responsible to manage the turnaround expectations from the team in terms of any SLA/KPIs and front ending the deliverables of the team with the client stakeholders. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • Location for this position is Columbus, IN. This position may require travel or relocation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead a team in resolving complex issues in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Team player, who strengthens the culture by their leadership example.
  • Strong SAP SD SME with knowledge of Order-to-Cash business processes in the Automobile or Material Handling industries. Specialized knowledge in two or more of the following: eCommerce (B2B or B2C, Hybris is preferred), Fleet Management, Warranty, Service Parts, Transportation Management.
    • Experienced with SAP SD customizations of OTC processes including master data (materials, business partners, pricing, output), order management, delivery processing, picking and packing, shipments billing, reporting, special scenarios like free goods, rush orders, intercompany transfers, SAP Reports etc. SAP ALE/EDI (IDOC expertise, Web services, output determination, and interfaces.
  • Technical Expertise: Basic level ABAP debugging skills.
  • Experience on SAP VMS, Fleet management processes and Warranty
  • Integration expertise with other SAP modules such as SAP-MM & SAP-FICO, SAP-CRM.
  • Client uses SAP's Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) tool extensively. Knowledge of basic debugging and operation of APIs, especially REST APIs is a plus.
  • Able to schedule and monitor batch jobs. Able to diagnose and resolve batch job failures.
  • Experience in collecting requirements around enhancements and providing solutions on usage of standard SAP
  • Ability to bring process improvements in the SAP OTC area
  • Experience in leading business blueprint workshops and providing solutions. Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SaFe) is a plus.
  • Should have experience in preparing functional specifications, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detailed specifications for the development of custom programs, testing, coordination of transports to production and post-go-live support.
  • Strong testing knowledge and experience with unit, user acceptance, and regression testing is required. Experience with automated test tools such as Tricentis is a plus.
  • At least four full life-cycle implementations.
  • Should have lead a team size of 6-8 consultants.
  • Knowledge and experience on S4 projects is desirable
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
