Principal - Health Management, Clinical Consulting
Infosys Consulting is seeking talented and highly motivated Management Consulting professionals with Healthcare Business Consulting experience implementation of Health Management and Clinical Consulting solutions to join its growing Healthcare practice at the Principal level.
As a Principal, you will manage consulting teams in the delivery of strategic programs with a deep understanding of healthcare workflows, industry regulations, and the power of advanced care management platforms like Guiding Care. Infosys Consulting focuses on technology-enabled business transformation, optimization and growth programs.

- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to identify opportunities for improvement in areas such as Utilization Management (UM), Case Management (CM), Disease Management (DM), and Care Management.
- Analyze complex clinical scenarios, identify potential risks, and develop strategies to optimize patient outcomes.
- Support the design and implementation of effective care management programs, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure our solutions remain relevant and effective.
- Contribute to the implementation of Guiding Care solutions for UM, CM, DM, and Care Management functionalities.
- Assist in configuring and customizing Guiding Care features to optimize workflows and automate processes for improved care coordination, utilization management, and population health management.
- Support testing efforts to ensure a smooth and successful implementation.
- Participate in user training and change management activities to facilitate adoption of the new system.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of healthcare management methodologies, including population health management, disease management, and wellness programs.
- Contribute to the development of health management strategies and their implementation within Guiding Care.
- Possess a strong understanding of UM and PA processes, including prior authorization, case management, and care plan development.
- Support the configuration of Guiding Care features to automate and streamline UM and PA workflows.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of workflows for effective utilization review and care coordination.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent preferably in Business Administration, Healthcare administration/management, or related field. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- 7+ years of professional experience in healthcare industry working for a consulting services organization and/or industry experience.
- Specialized knowledge and work experience in healthcare management, UM, PA, CM, DM, and Care Management platform implementations (Guiding Care) or related fields.
- Experience with technical solution implementations
- Ability to travel 4 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations.

- Must be a Resident of an Infosys Consulting Hub Locations of New York and New Jersey or must reside in city that is within a 2-hour driving distance from one of these hub locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience translating business objectives to system requirements
- Experience leading strategic and tactical discussions with Sr. Director and Director level
- Industry experiences working directly at a managed care, fee for service, and/or government health plan organizations is a plus
- Master's degree in healthcare-related field or MBA is preferred
- Certifications in Lean/Six Sigma, PMP, and/or Agile preferred
