As a Principal Consultant you will work on strategic programs in Digital Transformation space helping Retail and Consumer Goods companies to develop strategic business capabilities and drive their execution, while further deepening your knowledge in in this area.
Key Responsibilities :
At Infosys Consulting, you will:
- Work on business consulting engagements as part of a cross-cultural team across regions
- Work closely with clients to understand the strategy and vision and define the process blueprint or detail the requirements for subsequent realization by technology teams
- Take up a range of roles in the areas of business process consulting, functional consulting, product ownership, tech strategy, project management and change management
- Analyze problems and come up with solutions, often creative and out-of-the-box
- Apply business consulting frameworks and methodologies to address business problems
- Be responsible for the delivery of business results to clients
- Lead workshops to collaborate with client stakeholders and educate them throughout the process
- Interface with middle and senior-level client personnel to develop and execute business strategies, formulate projects plans, and address specific issues that may arise during an engagement
- Manage Stakeholders and collaboration across business functions and IT teams, market leads, in the related domain, agile teams
- Designing outstanding business solutions to support best practice implementations.
- Project Management - Participate in a team of global IT professional and/ or subject matter experts in establishing complete business & functional requirements, translating those requirements into actionable project initiatives w/associated metrics.
- Lead / contribute to sales pursuits, consulting offerings and internal initiatives
- Participate in a variety of Firm building events
- Thought Leadership - Provide insight to new and emerging best practices in the retail and consumer goods domain. And innovate to customize recommendations to a client's specific business needs.
- Contribute to POVs and Thought Leadership
- Practice Contribution - Expected to contribute to the growth and vitality of the CRL practice in various roles such as collateral development, new GTM solutions, case study compilation, and methodology development
- Business Development - Participate and contribute effectively to RFP and Proposals for Infosys Consulting
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required
- Should have worked in multiple projects in one of the digital areas including - Consumer Experience, Digital Commerce, Omnichannel order management, Mobility, Mar-tech, Digital Marketing and Campaigns, Digital Analytics, CRM, CDP or Customer Service
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following roles - Digital Strategy, Package Consultant, Process Consultant, Product Owner or Business Analyst
- Relevant experience on digital programs within the Retail, Consumer Goods or Logistics clients is a big plus
- Possess good knowledge of key emerging technologies likes AI, Advanced Analytics, Journey management, Omni/Conversational Channels, Cloud, Blockchain, Social & Mobility
- Knowledge of leading platforms, solutions, and tools in Digital Commerce (ex: sap-hybris, IBM Sterling commerce or OMS), Content (ex: SDL Tridion, AEM or Sitecore), Campaigns, Email Campaign Automation, Mar-tech, Analytics, Omnichannel, Customer Service, CRM functions
- Good knowledge in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and strategy and explorative frameworks (Benchmarking, Design Thinking, Value Design)
- Consulting & advisory experience with top-tier consulting organizations strongly preferred
- Experience working on large, multi-stakeholder, multi country programs is a plus
- Need good leadership skills - should be able to think big picture and advise clients
- MBA from Tier 1 or Tier 2 B-school with minimum 7+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent business understanding of retail and consumer product operations
- Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and challenging constraints
- Ability to collaborate within the firm and leverage existing resources
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary
