Infosys Public Services is seeking a Principal Consultant - Strategic Initiatives, to join our Team.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):

  • Help identify clients and opportunities for the practice, present proposals to clients, lead engagements from launch to closure, and participate in and contribute to different practice-level and organization-level initiatives to ensure smooth operations of the practice within the guidelines, policies, and norms of Infosys Public Services.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership, and ability to conceptualize and drive new solution/service offerings and take them to market. Ability and willingness to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in public policy and strategic initiative consulting
  • 7 years of experience working with public sector clients
  • Ability to collaborate with client counterparts to define long-term vision, goals, and strategies
Desired skills:
  • Drive large-scale transformation programs to help organizations reimagine their business into a new-age enterprise
  • Help clients devise data-driven business & operating models
  • Help clients maximize value from large-scale transformational initiatives
  • Contribute to the design and development of client future processes and organizations with corresponding transformation roadmaps.
  • Conduct ideation workshops with a team of global business & technical professionals & subject matter experts, translating those requirements into the prioritized roadmap, helping prepare business cases to implement the roadmap, and tracking value.
  • Provide direction and input for solutions for targeted processes, leveraging best practices.
  • Perform knowledge transfer to the client and supporting organizations throughout all project phases.
  • Providing & receiving regular feedback and ensuring effective communication and high satisfaction levels between the team and consultants under stressful circumstances
Educational Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education.
The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
