Salary: AUD 150,742 - 171,215 (Annual Gross)

Short Description:

In the role of Principal Consultant, you will be expected to develop bespoke applications in the banking domain. This position will primarily be responsible to interface with key stakeholders; apply technical proficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities:
For you to be successful in obtaining this role you will need to possess the following:
  • Must be able to help refine requirements.
  • The ability to manage deliverables (prioritisation, estimation, etc.)
  • Experience with OBP
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and deployment tooling like Team City, etc.
  • Experience with relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience working in agile environments.
  • Experience in Java, J2EE, ADF, SOA, OSB, Oracle Fusion
Skills /Competencies:

Essential:
  • Information Technology expert with 8+ years of banking domain knowledge.
  • Banking application development and implementation experience across offshore & onshore model including but not limited to Solution Design, Development and Support activities.
  • 5+ years of Application Design and Development experience with Oracle Banking Platform (OBP) product for Lending & Deposit products, Origination Workflow for online as well as batch solutions & integrations.
  • Hands on experience on Java, J2EE, ADF, SOA, OSB, Oracle Fusion & OBP technologies.
  • Working experience with different SDLC phases
  • Oracle SOA Suite 11g Certified Implementation Specialist
  • • Solution Analysis Design
  • • Building Framework components and Business Process Patterns
  • • Closely work with Technical Solution Architect and process Functional Lead
  • • Technologies: JAVA, J2EE, Oracle BPM, SOA, JBoss BPM, API, Microservices
  • • Key Contribution in Solution analysis & redesign of application components in stabilizing OBP platform mainly for Oracle BPM, Oracle SOA & Oracle ADF technology components.
  • • Key Bug-fixes and solution design and review with Oracle Banking Platform product teams.
  • • Automation design in various solution components within the
  • • Involved in the implementation of Oracle BPM, OBP Host, OBP UI solution for OBP Platform. Application support and enhancements - Production issue root cause analysis and solution design for the support fixes and enhancements
  • • Multi environment deployment and testing co-ordination for live system changes
Preferred :
  • Prior application development experience in banking operations.
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development and project management
Additional Skills:
  • Excellent customer interfacing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
