PriceFx Configuration Engineer

Infosys is seeking a PriceFx Configuration Engineer . This position's primary responsibility will be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of development. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best-practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.

Must have skills:
  • E xperience in pricing strategy, software implementation, or related roles, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with PriceFX.
  • Strong understanding of PriceFX modules, configuration, and integration with other systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
  • Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end implementation of PriceFX pricing solutions, including project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their pricing needs, define project scope, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Certifications: Pricefx Certified.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Configuration & Customization: Lead the configuration and customization of PriceFX modules, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Solution Design: Work with technical teams to design and configure PriceFX solutions that align with client requirements and industry best practices.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Manage the testing process, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure the solution meets client expectations and operates smoothly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the implementation process and the PriceFX platform.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with other pricing tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Proven track record of leading complex implementation projects, preferably with experience in Agile methodologies.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
