Oracle Workday Finance Principal Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Workday Finance Functional consultant with good hands-on functional exposure to Workday Finance product features and some exposure to Reports and integrations. The position will primarily be responsible for providing solutions on Workday Finance landscape based on customer's requirements. The selected candidate should be able to design, develop and test complex Workday Finance functional and technical solutions, customizations and extensions. The candidate is also expected to Interact with customer process consultants and business SME to understand and analyze various processes, derive automation opportunities and make recommendations for cloud transformation .

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson TX, Phoenix AZ, Providence RI, Raleigh NC or Indianapolis IN or be ready to relocate to the same. This position may require travel in the US.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.,
  • At least 11 years of experience with IT.
  • Overall relevant experience in Workday Finance - Implementation and Support projects.
  • Strong understanding of Workday Finance processing, integrations
  • Knowledge in Accounting/Finance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Workday as Financials Functional Consultant and/or Administrator and familiar with different Financial Areas
  • Experience in Development and Testing
  • Good to have Certification in Workday Financials and other specialized modules (e.g. Financial Accounting, Customer Accounts, Supplier Accounts, Transaction Tax, Revenue Management, Expenses, Procurement, Cash Management, etc.)
  • Identifying and addressing client needs, building solid relationships with clients communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience with application development and support
  • 8+ years of experience in Workday implementations or Support projects with at least two full Life Cycle implementation experience
  • Extensive experience in creating Business Process Configuration, Conditional Logic, Calculated Fields specific to Workday Finance modules is a must
  • Should be able to gather customer requirements related to complex Finance business rules and should be able to convert them into Workday Finance Business Process.
  • Should have good functional knowledge related to all FDM setups
  • Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams
  • Experience managing team size of 2-3 would be a plus
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job may entail moderate travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
